Ukrainian meteorological Center predicts a substantial cooling of the entire territory of Ukraine from January 25. In the following days frosts will spread to the southern parts entire of Ukraine, and at night temperature will reach -21 degrees. Most cold temperatures are expected in eastern and northern areas, where temperatures can reach -22 …- 28 degrees. The “highest” temperature will be observed in Crimea, where night temperature will be -9 …- 14 degrees, and the day -2 …- 8 degrees.

With a premiere of the opera “Prince Igor” Odessa Opera Theater ends the season.
Staging of the Russian opera is a long-awaited event for music lovers, and for the theatre itself, whose repertoire lacked Russian classics for many years.
“Prince Igor” is a legendary Russian opera of so-called “great shape”, an epic musical drama, which takes place in ancient Russia of the 12th century. The plot is based on historical events taking place during unsuccessful campaign of Novgorod-Seversky Prince Igor against Polovtsians described in the great literary monument “The Word about Igor’s regiment.” Beautiful music of “Prince Igor” combines folk scenes with a powerful sound of choir.
